What to Expect on Sunday at Rome Wesleyan
The 11:00 am Sunday worship services are designed to be relevant and Bible-based.
We use the Bible as the foundation for each sermon and adds humor, interesting facts, challenging stories and timely quotes.
Children typically join the congregation for the first part of the service and then go to Junior Church or Nursery about halfway through the service.
The Sunday service music is a blend of great hymns of the faith, gospel songs and contemporary worship choruses.
We are striving to minister to the whole family through Sunday Worship services and regular events.
Prayer Ministry
We believe in the power of prayer. We have seen God's answers to prayer time and time again.
Prayer is an important part of our Sunday morning service and each Thursday at 6:00 pm during Family Night there is prayer and Bible study for adults.
We also join with the Penn York District in fasting and praying weekly from Thursday at sundown to Friday at 3:00 pm.
From time to time and we have prayer events which allow us to step outside of our everyday lives and learn about prayer with others and also spend time alone with God.
Fellowship Dinners and Events
Our church loves to get together to pray with each other, get to know each other better and celebrate God's blessings in our lives. We have a dedicated fellowship team who organizes and prepares wonderful meals and other fellowship events.
